About LABQAS

The College of Pathologists, Academy of Medicine, Malaysia and the Malaysian Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences have jointly established the Conjoint Advisory Council for Laboratory Services, which runs an external quality assurance program, known as LABQAS (Laboratory Quality Assurance Scheme).

Members of both the Conjoint Advisory Council and the LABQAS Council are professionals in their respective fields.

LABQAS Quality Assurance Program is the first quality assurance program, which is open to all laboratories in Malaysia. It was launched in March 2000 and provides an invaluable service to the medical laboratories with an independent assessment national basis.
